Over the last 7 years we have worked with clients in the education sphere including Philadelphia University, the University of the Arts, the School District of Philadelphia and non-profit teacher education program Need in Deed. When the Waldorf School of Philadelphia was developing a new website with Agency-M, they asked Slife to produce a series of videos that would both highlight the school itself and show the world the meaning and value of Waldorf education. We spent the school year exploring the school, meeting the students and alumni, and talking to the teachers, staff and community. In addition to several short films peppered throughout the amazing website, our work was selected from hundreds of national artists to appear in an art exhibition, ‘What is Waldorf?” at the Pageant-Soloveev gallery in November 2013. In our most recent work with The School District of Philadelphia, we worked closely with the Office of Multilingual Curriculum and Programs to produce a series of videos centered around the immigrant student experience in the district. Partnering with animators at Eitzen Creative, we also created parent and family orientation videos in multiple languages, which were screened in the grand lobby of the School District’s offices at 440 North Broad Street.
